On Saturday, November 11th 4 am – 12 pm the plumbers will be installing new back-flow assemblies for the building. This will affect all the domestic water supply.

Contractors and Facilities will be replacing the fire pump for the West Building November 13th-15th 7 am – 4 pm . During this time the building fire system will be on city water pressure only. No open flames or hot work will be permitted in the West Building during this time.

On Saturday, November 4th from 3 am to 3 pm the steam system in the East Imaging Center will be off for repairs to a leak. In this time there will be limited to no heating to entirety of the building.

On Tuesday, October 31st from 5 am to 9 am the vacuum system for the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building will be down for service. In this time frame there will be no vacuum to fume hoods and lab benches and anything else requiring vacuum in the building.

On Friday, November 10th 6-7 am all lab compressed air in the building will be down for contractors to repair a leak.

PEDs Elevators will be out of service from 4 am to 7 am on Wednesday, November 8, and Thursday, November 9, for programming and testing new fire alarm devices in the elevator shafts. On Tuesday, October 31st the elevators in PEDs will be taken out of service to make programming changes to the new fire alarm system. Once the changes are complete, the elevators will be returned to service. During this outage the passenger elevators in NTA will be available to use.

From October 26th at 12 pm to November 10th to 4:30 pm roof top unit # 3 on the Taylor Avenue building will be off due to mechanical failure. In these times there will be 50% air flow and heating and cooling to the second floor of the Taylor Avenue Building.
