On 7/4, from 6 am to 3 pm, Air Handling Unit 3 will be shut down to replace a variable frequency drive. During the outage, there will be no airflow, cooling, or heating on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors of the facility. Thank you for your patience.
7/11: Planned Service Interruption – McDonnell Medical Science Building, Air Handling Unit
On 7/11, from 4 am to 12 pm,, Air Handling Units 7 & 8 will be shut down to facilitate a contractor installing the new air filtration system. During the outage, there will be no airflow, heating, or cooling capabilities on the 7th and 8th floors. Thank you for your patience.
6/27: Limited Service Interruption – Clinical Science Research Building, Exhaust Fan
On 6/27, from 6 am to 2 pm, Facilities will shut down the exhaust fan serving the north side of the 10th floor for repairs. No work shall be performed in the fume hoods during this shutdown period.
6/25: Planned Service Interruption – McDonnell Pediatric Research Building, Air Handling Unit
On 6/25, from 5 am to 7 am, facilities technicians will be performing upgrades to the building automation system. Although no interruption to the exhaust or supply air is anticipated, out of an abundance of caution NO work shall be conducted in any BSL3 lab in the building.
6/27: Limited Service Interruption – Southwest Tower, Steam
On 6/27, from 1 am to 7 am, BJH and WashU Facilities will perform work on the steam system serving the building. As a result, floors 6, 7, and 8 may experience cooler-than-normal temperatures during this period. In addition, all glass washers and autoclaves will be unavailable during the shutdown.
7/6-10: Demolition Work in McMillan Plaza to Begin
Beginning Monday, July 6, demolition work will begin in McMillan Plaza to accommodate the crane and construction laydown areas needed for the McMillan Phases 1–5 renovation.
