Trespassing

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers responded to the FLTC for a report of a suspicious person attempting to enter the building. Officers encountered a known trespasser. The subject had several active warrants and was taken into custody. Protective Services requested the SLMPD respond to take custody. The SLMPD declined to respond after two hours. The subject was released with another warning against future trespass.

Harassment

Synopsis:  Two WUSM employees reported that they were harassed as they walked to campus on S. Taylor Ave. A vehicle with at least three occupants threw a cup of unknown liquid at the employees. The vehicle then made a U-turn and continued harassing them by yelling unintelligible words at them. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Clinical Sciences Research Building (CSRB) 2nd Floor WUIT Tech Bar
Synopsis:  Protective Services responded to the WUIT Tech bar on the 2nd floor of the CSRB for a theft report. An employee reported that an unidentified subject removed items from behind the desk. A review of CCTV footage showed an unidentified subject jumped over the desk and stole several computer accessory items. WUIT confirmed no computers or other data devices were taken.  Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  Protective Services responded to the 3rd floor of the MIR building for a report of property damage. A drawer at the nurse’s station was forced open. The drawer contained candy which was missing. Protective Services is investigating.

Suspicious Activity/Harassment

Synopsis:  Protective Services officers responded to a call of an unaffiliated subject following a WashU employee from campus northbound into the Central West End. Officers made contact with the WashU employee who reported that a woman bumped into and then began yelling and swearing at her. The employee called 911 while a co-worker contacted Protective Services. Protective Services officers located the unaffiliated woman and detained her. She was identified and issued a warning against trespass. The employee was not injured and declined to press charges. 
Disposition: Investigation Complete. Trespass Warning Issued.
