Date & Time Reported: 04/12/2026 2:08 am
Location: Southwest Tower, 7th Floor
Synopsis:  While on routine foot patrol on the 7th floor of the Southwest Tower, a Protective Services officer encountered a subject who appeared confused and out of place. The subject was carrying a wet floor sign and told the officer she was trying to visit a patient. The officer notified her that she was not on a patient care floor and offered to accompany her to the hospital to find the patient she wanted to visit. The subject walked away and barricaded herself in the women’s restroom. The officer called for additional officers, including a female officer who entered the bathroom and attempted to coax the subject out.  Eventually, officers had to compel the subject to leave the bathroom as she attempted to resist and strike the officers. She was eventually detained and escorted to the Barnes-Jewish Emergency Department.
Disposition: Suspect warned against future trespass. Investigation Complete.
