Synopsis:  A Protective Services officer located vandalism on the shuttle stop just south of the Clayton Garage at the shuttle stop. Graffiti was spray-painted on the shuttle stop wall and a nearby newspaper distribution box. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Clinical Sciences Research Building (CSRB) Bike Rack
Synopsis:  A physician parked his bicycle in the CSRB bike corral on 6/18/2023. He believed he secured the bicycle to the rack with a cable lock. However, CCTV footage revealed the bike was not secured to the rack. Upon his return to the corral on 6/21/2023, the bicycle was gone. A review of CCTV footage showed an unidentified subject climbed the fence to the corral and stole the bicycle. A relevant BOLO was disseminated to campus security.

Synopsis:  A Bon Appetit employee reported a former employee assaulted her while she was t work. The former employee was terminated four years ago and was possibly on campus seeking medical treatment. While the current employee was working the cash register, the former employee approached her from behind, hugged her waist, and kissed her ear and cheek. The actions were unwanted and unprovoked. The current employee reported the matter to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).
Disposition: Referred to the SLMPD.

Synopsis:  While investigating a tampering that occurred in the BJCIH dock, Protective Services investigators reviewed CCTV footage and determined two subjects burglarized the BJCIH. The subjects entered the BJCIH dock and were able to enter the BJCIH building by slipping between a docked box truck and the overhead dock door seal. The subjects stole an undetermined amount of items which they transported in two shopping carts they brought. One of the subjects is believed to be the same person who burglarized the BJCIH  on 6/17/2023 under Incident No. 2306-00262. The same subject is also responsible for tampering with the University-owned vehicles under Incident No. 2306-00260. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis:  The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported to Protective Services that a glass door pane had been shattered that WUSM Eye Clinic on Pershing Ave. Protective Services officers responded but could not provide assistance in boarding the door because the property is leased and off site. It is unknow if the damage was intentional or accidental.

Location: BJC Institute of Health (BJCIH) Dock
Synopsis:   A WUSM employee reported a University-owned vehicle had been ransacked. The vehicle had been parked in the BJCIH dock over the weekend. The employee entered the vehicle and noticed paperwork was strewn all over the seats. In addition, the glove compartment had been opened and someone had rifled through it. The vehicle doors did not appear to forced open or otherwise damaged. A review of CCTV footage in the area showed an unidentified subject entered the vehicles  while in the process of burglarizing the BJCIH building. Protective Services is investigating.
