Trespassing, Harassment

Location: Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR) 2nd Floor
Synopsis: Protective Services officers responded to the 2nd floor of the MIR for a report of a suspicious person. Upon arrival, BJH Public Safety had already detained and identified the subject as a known trespasser. The subject was combative with the officers and placed under arrest. The subject was in possession of suspected narcotics. An investigation revealed the subject had been harassing nurses and making inappropriate comments earlier that evening. The subject requested medical attention due to being under the influence of an unknown substance. He was transported to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital Emergency Department. The SLMPD was notified based on the subject being in possession of narcotics and having several active warrants. He was turned over to the custody of the SLMPD. 
Disposition: Suspect Arrested. Investigation Complete. Referred to the SLMPD.

Stolen Auto

Property Damage

Synopsis: While patrolling the area, a Protective Services officer noticed three cement planters knocked over on the north side of the CID building. A review of CCTV footage showed an unidentified male subject knocked over the planters earlier that morning. He also kicked over a pathway light near the sidewalk leading to the north door of the CID building. A relevant BOLO was disseminated amongst campus security in an effort to identify the subject. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Maternity Hospital Building Physician On Call Surface Parking Lot
Synopsis: Barnes-Jewish Hospital Public Safety officers informed Protective Services officers that they witness a vehicle break-in on the Physician On Call surface parking lot. The suspect vehicle fled the area. Officers responded to the lot and determined two vehicles were damaged in the form of shattered windows. One of the vehicles belonged to a WUSM employee who was notified. It is unknown if anything was stolen from within the vehicles. Protective Services is investigating.
