Vehicle Tampering

Location: 4488 Forest Park Ave. Surface Parking Lot
Synopsis:  While on normal patrol, a Protective Services officer noticed two vehicles parked on the 4488 Forest Park Ave. lot with broken windows. A subsequent investigation revealed a white SUV with no plates drove onto the lot and left shortly after. The vehicle description was consistent with a vehicle that was also involved in a tampering event documented under Incident No. 2301-00007 as well as tampering events on BJH property. Protective Services and BJH Public Safety are both investigating.

Trespassing

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported a known trespasser in the 9th floor breakroom of the Wohl Clinic. The trespasser stole some food and fled the area when confronted by the employee. Officers located the trespasser in the Center for Advanced Medicine. Due to his frequent trespassing, the SLMPD responded to campus and took him into custody.

Synopsis:  A WUSM employee reported receiving threats from a patient. The patient called the employee from the lobby phone in the TAB Extension building and threatened physical harm. The patient was gone upon Protective Services’ arrival. Protective Services is investigating.

Vehicle Tampering

Location: Euclid Meters Parking Lot
Synopsis:  A Protective Services officer noticed a vehicle with a shattered window while on patrol of the Euclid Meters Parking Lot.  The belonged to a School of Medicine employee.  Officers found three additional vehicles on the lot that had been tampered with.  A review of CCTV footage revealed suspects had entered the victim vehicles earlier in the night.  The employee contacted the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (SLMPD).  Protective Services and the SLMPD are investigating

Location: Duncan Central Garage
Synopsis:  Protective Services officers observed four juveniles enter the Duncan Central Garage. The officers notified BJH Public Safety and assisted BJHPS in detaining the juveniles. They juveniles threw a trashcan from the 3rd or 4th level of the garage. They discharged several fire extinguishers and damaged several Exit signs, causing electrical malfunctions on the 4th and 5th levels. The juveniles were turned over to their parents.
