East McDonnell Facility-Electric Service Interruption 9/9/2025
On Tuesday, September 9, from 4-5 am, facilities will be conducting a test of the building’s emergency electrical system. There will be a total building electrical shutdown to allow the electrical infrastructure to become fully self-supporting. This ensures that all emergency power is available and operating as intended in the event of an actual emergency.
McDonnell Medical Sciences Building-Elevator Service Interruption 9/3/2025
On Wednesday, September 3, 5-6 am, as part of the 9th FL construction project, the elevators will be briefly out of service while the cab lights are rewired from a temporary power source to a permanent one.

On Monday, September 15th, from 6-9 pm, Facilities will perform preventive maintenance on the lab exhaust system for floors 7 through 11 in the south tower. During this time, lab occupants may experience little to no airflow. Additionally, no work will be allowed in the fume hoods.

On Tuesday, August 26th, from 8 am to 4 pm, there will be no domestic hot water available throughout the entire facility. This is to assist contractors in tying in components to the hot water system. All sinks, showers, and all equipment utilizing hot water will be affected.
