On Saturday, December 6, 6 a.m.- 4 p.m., Air Handlers 3 & 4 will be shut down to assist a contractor with installing a new filtration system. During this time, there will be no airflow, cooling, or heating to the 2nd and 3rd floors of the facility. Thank you for your patience during this outage.

Elevator #11 is out of service due to a needed repair. The parts are on order. KONE will return the elevator to service once the repairs are complete.

On Wednesday, November 19, from 5-7 p.m., Facilities will shut down the exhaust fans serving the fume hoods on floors 6, 7, and 8 to perform preventive maintenance. During this time, no work will be allowed in the fume hoods.

Elevator 97 is currently out of service due to a safety device that needs to be replaced. KONE has ordered the part required, which has a five-week lead time. The elevator will be returned to service as soon as possible once the part is received.

Elevators 18 and 19 are out of service for repairs. KONE is working on a solution to get them back in service as soon as possible. On Thursday, November 13, 2013, from 4:00 to 8:00 am, exhaust fan 33 will be shut down to install a manual damper in the ductwork. This will affect Suite 880, labs F through J fume hoods. Please don’t use these fume hoods during this outage. Thank you for your patience.

To support an upcoming project to upgrade the building’s exhaust system, an exhaust system outage is required. During the above-noted date and time, there shall be NO work performed in any BSL3 suite ( 7230, 7302, 7303, 8201, 8210) throughout the building.

On Wednesday, November 12, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., facilities technicians will be installing a new lock in BSL3 lab 7303A. During this time, NO work shall take place in the BSL3 suite 7303.
