Synopsis: A Protective Services officer noticed graffiti on a recycle bin near the MCC. A word, possibly "sky" was painted in yellow on the exterior of the bin. A review of CCTV footage showed the vandalism occurred on March 11th. Protective Services is investigating.

Location: Washington University School of Medicine Eye Clinic, 5615 Pershing Ave.
Synopsis: The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported to Protective Services that a glass door pane had been shattered that WUSM Eye Clinic on Pershing Ave. Protective Services officers responded but could not provide assistance in boarding the door because the property is leased and off site. It is unknow if the damage was intentional or accidental.

Synopsis: A Protective Services officer located vandalism on the shuttle stop just south of the Clayton Garage at the shuttle stop. Graffiti was spray-painted on the shuttle stop wall and a nearby newspaper distribution box. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: An employee parked his vehicle in a metered parking space along McKinley Ave. Upon his return to the vehicle, he located damage he believed was not present when he arrived to campus. The employee believed the driver of the vehicle parked in front of his was responsible. CCTV footage did not capture the incident in sufficient detail to determine if the vehicle was damaged while parked on campus.

Synopsis: A WUSM employee reported deliberate damage to an incubator within a lab on the 6th floor of the 4444 Forest Park Ave. Building. The CO2 hose on the back of the incubator was detached, resulting in approximately $4000 worth of specimens being destroyed. Protective Services is investigating.

Synopsis: A U-Haul truck parked near the 4444 Forest Park Ave. dock. Upon leaving the area, the truck reversed into a "No Parking" sign, causing the sign to bend. Several hours later, a WUSM van parked in the dock. The driver of the van pulled the bent sign down and left it on the embankment. Protective Services officers notified parking and transportation to replace the sign.

Location: 222 S. Newstead Ave. surface lot
Synopsis: Protective Services responded to the parking lot of the 222 S. Newstead Ave. surface lot for a subject who was damaging a Tarlton Construction trailer. The subject carried a 2x4 wooden board and a long metal pole. Officers made contact with the subject who appeared to be in the midst of mental health crisis. The subject had broken out several windows of the trailer. The SLMPD responded to the scene and issued a summons to the subject. The SLMPD removed the subject from campus.
Disposition: Suspect Charged. Judicial Disposition Unknown

Synopsis: A Protective Services officer found the exit gate arm of the 818 Surface Lot broken. A review of CCTV footage showed an unidentified vehicle entered the lot. 3 subjects looked into the parked vehicles on the lot but did not tamper with any. The vehicle then drove through the exit gate arm to leave. Protective Services is investigating.
