Facilities will be turning off the steam that serves floors 6, 7, and 8 on Saturday, July 29th 7 pm to Sunday, July 30th 5 am. There will be no steam to autoclaves during this time. These floors will experience cooler-than-normal temperatures during the above-noted dates and times.

On Saturday, August 12th 6 am – 2 pm Facilities will perform maintenance on the air handlers that serve floors 6, 7, and 8. Floors 6, 7, and 8 may experience slightly warmer than normal temperatures during the above-noted date and times.

On Saturday, August 5th 6 am – 2pm Facilities will be performing maintenance on the exhaust fans that serves floor 6, 7, and 8. No work should be performed in fume hoods on these floors during the above-noted date and times.

On Friday, August 4th from 3 pm to 5 pm Air handling units B1 and B2 will be turned off at separate times in the East Imaging Center for inspections. In these times there will be little to no air flow and cooling to the basement and cyclotrons in the building.

On Friday, August 4th 5-7 am Facilities will be shutting down air handler units and exhaust fans that serve floors 7-11. No work should be performed in fume hoods during this outage. Facilities will monitor temperatures during this outage.

On Saturday, August 19th from 5:30 am to 6 pm there will be a building wide exhaust outage for the Biotechnology Center building for a motor replacement. In this time the will be limited to no exhaust flow to the bathrooms and the fume hoods for the entire building.

On Saturday, July 22nd from 5 am to 2 pm in the McDonnell Medical Sciences Building Air Handling Unit 8 will be off for repairs. In this time there will be limited to no cooling or air flow to the 8th floor of the building.

5007 Men’s Restroom will be closed to repair the ceiling. Please use the restroom on the 4th floor or the 7th floor. Sorry for the inconvenience.
