Shuttles
WashU Medicine offers a shuttle program for Medical Campus employees and students with a valid ID badge.
#1 Gold Line Shuttle
The #1 Gold Line is a shuttle operated by MetroBus between Mallinckrodt, Skinker, Forest Park, and the Central West End Transit Centers. This route is free to WashU users who have a U-Pass.
1234 S. Kingshighway Lot Shuttle
The 1234 S. Kingshighway lot is gated and staffed by security during business hours. The lot is located in a residential neighborhood adjacent to an active WashU Medicine building. A shuttle runs from the 1234 S. Kingshighway lot to the Mid Campus Center (MCC) Monday through Friday, 6 am to 9:15 am and 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes, depending on weather and traffic conditions. Transportation can be requested outside of these hours through Protective Services by calling 314-362-4357.
Effective August 14, 2025, WashU Medicine is piloting a circulator shuttle route between 1234 S. Kingshighway and the Mid Campus Center, Monday through Friday from 9:30 am to 2:15 pm in addition to the route above. Therefore, the shuttle operates Monday through Friday, from 6:00 am to 5:45 pm.
