Shuttles
WashU Medicine offers a shuttle program for Medical Campus employees and students with a valid ID badge.
#1 Gold Line Shuttle
The #1 Gold Line is a shuttle operated by MetroBus between Mallinckrodt, Skinker, Forest Park, and the Central West End Transit Centers. This route is free to WashU users who have a U-Pass.
1234 S. Kingshighway Lot Shuttle
The 1234 S. Kingshighway lot is gated and staffed by security during business hours. The lot is located in a residential neighborhood adjacent to an active WashU Medicine building. A shuttle runs from the 1234 S. Kingshighway lot to the Mid Campus Center (MCC) Monday through Friday, 6 am to 9:45 a.m. and 2:30 pm to 5:45 pm. The shuttle runs every 30 minutes, depending on weather and traffic conditions. Transportation can be requested outside of these hours through Protective Services by calling 314-362-4357.
Effective May 18, 2026, WashU Medicine is discontinuing the pilot circulator shuttle route between 1234 S. Kingshighway and the Mid Campus Center. The schedule will revert to the one listed above.
